Gift of Joy – Festival of Trees

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday.  Chasing a few deadlines…

Playing with Double Trouble (#204) and the 3-2-1 Recipe (3 Colors, 2 Images and 1 Slimline styled card) with a “T” Twist (Trees) and partnering with Try Stamping on Tuesday (#683) for the Sketch.

I selected Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#199) colors and tying in with the Stampin’ Up! Only (#389) Color suggestion along with the Holiday Tree Decorations inspiration photo

Here is the result:

GIFT OF JOY – FESTIVAL OF TREES -DT204 – TSOT683 – CI199 – SUOC389

Steps:

  • Card Base: (7” x 6” scored at 3½”) Basic White cardstock for a Mini Slimline card.
  • Background Panel: (3¼” x 5¾”) dry-embossed with the Glass Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Side Blocks: (1¼” x 2”) Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie Splatter Ombre patterned pieces of paper from both the Regals and Neutrals 2025/2026 Collection Designer Series Paper packs.
  • Decoration – Trees: Basic White cardstock scraps.
    • The Dotted Tree image and the Planter Pot image from the retired Festival of Trees stamp set were stamped with Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Pecan Pie inks.
    • The Trees were punched out with the coordinating Tree Punch, and the Planter Pot was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
  • Sentiment Banner: Basic White cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Wishing you a season wrapped in love and tied up with joy, from the Gift of Joy stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and die-cut with the Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Dark Pecan Pie, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Trees were popped up with Dimensionals.
