Along The Lines – Birthday Wishes

Hi again!  Another deadline…

I am playing with: Creative Colours (#219), creating a simple stamping card for Paper Craft Crew (#648) with the layout suggested by AAA Cards (#304) flipped to the horizontal for a clean and simple design.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Summer Splash cardstock.
• Card Front: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the Birthday Cake image from the Along the Lines stamp set was stamped three times connecting the lines as was the sentiment, May all your wishes come true, from the retired Heard from the Heart stamp set with the aid of the Stamp-a-ma-jig Positioning Tool.
  • The lines in the sentiment were extended by hand using the Journaling Pen.
  • The Birthday Cakes were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light Darling Duckling, Summer Splash and Berry Burst.

And that’s all folks!  Clean and simple, bright and fun.
