Joyful Tidings – Twelve Days of Crafting

Welcome back! A dressed up clean and simple Holiday card for you today…

Facebook’s Stampin’ Through the Catalog is asking us to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card created by Danielle Bennenk. 

I really like the layout of her design and changed it to include the CAS Colours & Sketches (#572) Palette and to share with Krafty Chicks (#795) on their CAS Week.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (11” x 4½” scored at 5½”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Sentiment Circle: (3½” x 3½”) Real Red Two-Tone cardstock (dark side) die-cut with the (3¼”) Eyelet Circle die from the Spotlight on Natures Dies set, and On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The sentiment, Peace, Hope & Joy, from the Joyful Tidings stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Decoration – Poinsettias: Basic White cardstock.
  • The Two Floral images from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar stamp set, another On-Line Exclusive product, were stamped with both Real Red and Shaded Spruce ink.  The Floral Center image was stamped with retired Wild Wheat ink.
  • The Floral Shapes were die-cut with the coordinating 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Dies set.
• Leaf Sprigs: (2½” x 2½”) Gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper die-cut with the Leaf die from the Charming Day Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.

All elements were arranged and adhered to the card base to resemble Danielle’s layout.

A lovely Christmas card.
