Happy Birthday Banner

Design Time: For the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#539) Sketch and Cardz 4 Guyz (#380) Theme & Color.  Today’s card can be found on page 34 of the September 2025 – December 2026 Mini Catalog. 

CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things.  You are welcome to choose how you create.  I opted for a very clean and simple presentation.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
• Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Banner: (1½” x 4¼”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock hand notched with Paper Snips.
  • The Splatter image from the Swirled Designs stamp set, a new On-Line Exclusive product was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Block: (2¼” x 2”) Gorgeous Grape Ombre Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2025 / 2026 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack and hand torn on all four edges.
  • The word, birthday, from the happy birthday sentiment found in the retired Spring Corners stamp set was stamped multiple times with Blackberry Bliss ink.
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The word, happy, from the happy birthday sentiment used above was also stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and trimmed to measure (⅞” x ¼”).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The sentiment happy was popped up with Dimensionals.
