Winter Forest – Noel

Welcome back! A brand-new week. The holiday count down continues with several challenges.

A companion card to the one I created last week. Clean and simple with a white-on-white treatment.

For: Paper Players (#764) – Frosty Vistas; Facebook’s Global Design Project (#523) Keeping it Cold; and Farm Quest’s Country Christmas (#26) for a Rural Winter Scene.

Here is the result:

WHITE ON WHITE WINTER FOREST – PP764 – GDP523 – FQCCCB26

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Whisper of Texture Specialty Paper, an On-Line Exclusive product.
    • An Aperture Circle was die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Inset: (2½” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
  • Trees: Basic White cardstock scrap die-cut with the Tree dies from the retired Majestic Mountain Dies set. The Trees were trimmed to shorten the height.
  • Deer: Basic White cardstock scrap die-cut with the small Deer die from the retired Grove Dies set.
  • Sentiment: (4” x 1½”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the word Noel die from the retired Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to create the winter scene.

Love a white-on-white winter card.  And yes, it certainly looks cold out there.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
