Hello Harvest – Floral Pumpkin Thank You

Welcome back!  Happy Sunday…

I am playing with: Alphabet (Letter P) for Pumpkin; Color Dare (#677) Orange & Green plus one – Crushed Curry; and the Sunday Stamps (#373) Sketch to bring everything together.  I am also sharing with Paper Craft Crew (#647) to pick three colors from the inspiration photo.

Here is the result:

HELLO HARVEST – BEAUTIFUL MOTIFS – ACB Letter P – CD677 – SSC373 – PCC647

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Timid Tiger cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) Old Olive cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Very Vanilla cardstock dry-embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Cross Panel: (5” x ¾”) Old Olive Gingham patterned piece of paper from the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper pack, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Shape – Floral Pumpkin: (3” x 3½”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The Floral image, from the retired Hello Harvest stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and again on a Post-It-Note.
    • The Post-It-Note image was fussy-cut along the bottom edge and used as a Mask for the original stamped Flowers.
    • With the Mask in place, the Pumpkin image from the same stamp set was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • With the Mask removed, the Floral Pumpkin was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Floral Centers – Light Pecan Pie; Flowers – Light, Medium and Dark Daffodil Delight (retired Stampin’ Blendabilities); Leaves – Light and Dark Old Olive; and Pumpkin – Light and Dark Timid Tiger.
    • The Floral Pumpkin was then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
  • Sentiment Label: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Thank you for everything, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, was stamped with Old Olive ink and trimmed on the diagonal.
    • Using a Sponge Dauber, Crushed Curry ink was added to the edges.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Floral Pumpkin and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.
