Winter Joy – Snowflake

Welcome back! Happy Thursday…

A few clean and simple challenges with similar themes combined.  I have always loved a white-on-white treatment and have seen a lot of cards I love pop up over time either via the Stampin’ Up! share sites, Pinterest or Magazines.

This is my version for: Addicted to CAS (#295) with a Snowflake theme, Simply Clean & Simple (#29) with a Winter theme, Just Us Girls (#801) also with a Winter theme, and Christmas or Not Bingo (#16) Letter “I” for the Winter, Aperture and Snowflakes options.

Here is the result:

WHITE ON WHITE WINTER SNOWLAKE – ATCAS295 – SCS029 – JUGS801 – CONBCB16

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Whisper of Texture Specialty Paper, an On-Line Exclusive product.
    • An Aperture Circle was die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Snowflake: Basic White cardstock scrap die-cut with the (1½”) Snowflake die from the retired Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set.
  • Sentiment: (2½” x 3”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the word Joy die from the retired Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.

Texture and dimension create a stunning white-on-white winter card.  Yet it is so simple and clean!

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
