Friendly Foliage – Hey

Design Time: For the Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#538) Sketch.  Today’s card can be found on page 49 of the September 2025 – December 2026 Mini Catalog. 

CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things.  You are welcome to choose how you create. 

My design choices were influenced by: Facebook’s Stampin’ Through the Catalog stamp set choice for today – Friendly Foliage and the Color Dare (#676) Palette adding Darling Duckling and Pretty Peacock to the mix. 

I am also sharing this card with Addicted to Stamps & More (#505) for the Dies option.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Darling Duckling cardstock.
• Background Panel (4” x 5¼”) Confetti Dashed patterned piece of paper from the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper pack that includes shades of Orange (Peach Pie, Timid Tiger and Calypso Coral).
• Center Panel: (1⅝” x 4¾”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
• Left Accent Panel: (1⅜” x 3¾”) Timid Tiger Ombre Splatter patterned piece of paper from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Right Accent Panel: (1⅜” x 3¾”) Calypso Coral Dotted patterned piece of paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper pack.
• Focal Image – Open Leaf Frame: (2¾” x 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
  • The Leaf Frame image from the Friendly Foliage stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Using the coordinating Frame dies from the Friendly Foliage Dies set, the Leaf Frame was die-cut.
  • The Frame was backed with a (1⅝” x 2⅞”) piece of Darling Duckling Ombre Splatter paper, also from the 2025/2027 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Sentiment: Darling Duckling cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Hey, from the Charming Day stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and then die-cut with the (⅞”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and a retired Calypso Coral Braided Linen Twine Bow was added to complete the card.
