Beautiful Blues – Birthday

Welcome back!  It’s Wednesday and I have a pretty card for you today using elements from the Beautiful Blues Kit.

Don’t you just love taking bits and pieces and creating something new?

My design was influenced by Alphabet (Letter O) for Ovals and One Word Sentiment.

Make My Monday (#264) for a Birthday with Flowers theme and Shopping Our Stash (#560) for a Few of my Favorite Things which includes Kits, Color Blue, Embossing Folders and Ribbons.

Sharing with Triple B (November) for the Blossoms theme and Beautiful Blossoms (#34) for a Floral Anything Goes theme with some blue.

Here is the result:

BEAUTIFUL BLUES KIT – ACB Letter O – MMM264 – SOS560 – TBC November 2025 – BBC034

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Misty Moonlight cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Night of Navy cardstock dry-embossed with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Accent Oval: (2¾” x 3¾”) White Linen patterned piece of paper from the Whisper of Texture Specialty Paper, a new On-Line Exclusive product, was die-cut with the (2⅝” x 3½”) Oval die from the retired Framelits Oval Collection Dies set.
  • Focal Image – Blue Floral: One of the double sided printed floral card bases from the Beautiful Blues Kit was cut in half and then a portion of the printed floral design was die-cut with the (2⅜” x 3¼”) Oval die from the retired Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies set.
  • Sentiment: (4” x 1”) Basic White cardstock doubled up.
    • The sentiment, Celebrate, was die-cut with the word die from the retired Wanted To Say Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The framed Oval image was popped up with Dimensionals over the wrapped (⅝”) White Satin Ribbon (retired) and the (¼”) Misty Moonlight Starter Pack Ribbon. A few White Neutral Matte Dots, also an On-Line Exclusive product, were added to complete the card.

Love a monochromatic blue and white card…
