Charming Day – Fall Thanks

Hi again! Design Team Time for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#652).  A fun sketch with lots of possibilities.

Design influences were inspired by: Just Us Girls (#797) Fall Essentials and Tic Tac Toe (#281) opting for an Embossing Folder for the FREE space.

Sharing with: Can You Handle The Pressure (#25OCT11) Leaf Embossing Folder; TGIF (#547) picking up the Leaves and Orange coloring; and Inkspirational (#352) for a Fall Seasonal card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cajun Craze cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Beige / Basic White Smoosh patterned piece of paper from the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper pack, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Accent Panel: (3¼” x 4½”) Cajun Craze cardstock.
  • These two pieces were adhered together and dry-embossed with the retired Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.
• Torn Front Panel: (2¾” x 4”) Crushed Curry / Cajun Craze / Early Espresso Leaf patterned piece of paper, also from the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper (reverse side).
• Cross Strip: (5” x ⅜”) Basic Beige Classic Ribbon.
• Circle Shape: Early Espresso cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thanks for being you, from the Charming Day stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (1⅝”) Decorative Circle die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies set, again an On-Line Exclusive product.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and three golden Low Profile Dots, still available but on the Last Chance List, were added for a bit of bling.

A pretty Fall card.
