Let It Ride – Go For It

Design Team Time: This round at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#473), we have a cool sketch.

My design choices were influenced by: Festive Friday (#194) with a list of options and Time Out (#298), with another list of options.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Top & Botton Edge Tear: (8½” x 1¼”) Black & White Streaked patterned piece of paper from the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper pack, an On-Line Exclusive product. Cut in half to (4¼”) and hand torn to approximately (1”).
• Metallic Accent Edge Tear: (4¼” x ¾”) retired Brushed Silver cardstock (still in my stash) torn in half.
• Focal image – Horse: (2¼” x 2¼”) Brushed Silver cardstock.
  • The Galloping Horse image from the retired Let It Ride stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Sentiment Flag: (2¾” x ¾”) Black & White Streaked patterned piece of paper also from the Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The sentiment, Go For It!, also from the Let It Ride stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then trimmed on the diagonal.
• Accent Ribbon: (3½” x ⅜”) Black & White Large Check Ribbon (retired) cut on the same diagonal.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Horse was popped up with Dimensionals and a few retired Smoky Slate Pearls were added to complete the card.

A nice encouragement card!
