Doodle Me This – Totally Trees Hello

Hi again!  A few more challenges…

I am combining a number to challenges and decided to go clean and simple to showcase the doodles.

For Double Trouble (#200): 3 Doodles, 2 Layers, and 1 Sentiment…adding bright colors selecting the Creative Colour (#212) suggestions…and using the Try A Sketch on Tuesday (#679) Layout.

Here is the result:

TOTALLY TREES – BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES – DT200 – CCC212 – TSOT679

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Accent Mat (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
  • Card Front: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Three different Tree images from the retired Totally Trees stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, as was the Grass image.
    • The Triangle Shaped image, from the same stamp set, was stamped with Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly and Pumpkin Pie inks respectively to add color to the Trees.
    • The greeting, hello, from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

A nice Fall greeting card.

  3. For a CAS card you certainly got a great combination of challenges included in this one card. Love your interpretation of our Sketch Challenge and using our DTC recipe and optional twist. Thanks for sharing with us at our sister challenges.
