Irresistible Blooms – Wonderful You

One more time!  Another deadline looms…

For: The Flower Challenge (#106) Sketch; Color Dare (#669) Palette of Light Green and Purple; and sharing with Crafter’s Café (#323) Twist – Flowers.

Back to my favorite clean and simple style.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Highland Heather cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The large Blossom image from the retired Irresistible Blooms stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • The image was stamped again on to a Post-It-Note and fussy-cut with Paper Snips to serve as a Mask.
  • With the Mask in place, the smaller Blossom, from the same stamp set, was stamped twice, again with Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • Two more Post-It-Note Masks were created.
  • With all Flowers masked, the Triple Leaves image, again from the same stamp set, was stamped with retired Mint Macaron ink.
  • The Masks were removed, and scene was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Flowers – Light and Dark Highland Heather and Leaves – Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam.
  • The sentiment, You’re pretty wonderful, from the retired Mixed Labels stamp set was stamped with Mint Macaron ink.

That is pretty much it!  A few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added for a bit of bling.

A sweet card suitable for admiration, thank you or friendship.
