Welcome back! Happy Sunday. Finding a few creative moments among the chores…
Two challenges: Cupcake Inspirations (#626) has a Sports theme. I don’t really have anything in my stash for those sports played in School, so I chose Cycling and a favorite retired stamp set. I picked the color palette suggested by Color Throwdown (#840) for a fun set of bright colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, Hello, from the Branching Out stamp set and the Balloon Strings image from the retired Balloon Celebration stamp set were stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- Decoration #1 – Balloons: Basic White cardstock and the retired Balloon Celebration stamp set.
- The smaller Balloon Outline image was stamped with Basic Gray ink, and the Balloon In-Fill image was stamped with Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Garden green inks.
- The Balloons were punched out using the coordinating retired Balloon Bouquet Punch.
- Decoration #2 – Bicycle: Basic White cardstock and the retired Bike Ride stamp set.
- The Bike Frame image was stamped with Real Red ink and the In-fill elements; Seat, Peddle and Handlebar Grips were stamped with Smoky Slate ink.
- The Bike Tire image was stamped with Basic Gray ink, and the Rim image was stamped with Smoky Slate ink.
- The Wicker Basket image was stamped with Basic Gray ink, and the In-Fill Basket image was stamped with Garden Green ink.
- The Apples image was also stamped with Basic Gray ink and colored with the Light Real Red, Light Old Olive and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.
- All the Bicycle elements were die-cut with the coordinating dies from the retired Build A Bike Framelits Dies as was the Bike Carrier from a scrap of Smoky Slate cardstock.
All elements were adhered to the card base to build the scene. Two of the Balloons were popped up with Dimensionals and using the Journaling Pen, the Balloon Strings were attached to the Handlebars of the Bicycle.
The surprise…fresh picked Apples.
