Extraordinary Flora – Love & Happiness

Hi again!  This is a Saturday when I have some time to play…

I have created a wedding / engagement card for Heart’s Quest Celebration of Love (#202509) adding a few hearts for Heart’s Quest (#77).

I selected the Sunday Stamps (#368) Sketch and Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#194) Palette to complete the card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
• Side Strip: (⅞” x 5¼”) Fresh Freesia / Calypso Coral Ombre Splatter patterned piece of paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper pack.
• Spray Elements: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Block Floral image from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set was stamped with Secret Sea ink.
  • The Floral images were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Leaves – Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Posies – Both Light and Dark Fresh Freesia and Calypso Coral.
  • The Floral images were then die-cut with the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Die.
• Circle: (2” x 2”) Secret Sea cardstock.
  • The sentiment, Wishing you love & happiness that lasts a lifetime, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (1⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Hearts: Calypso Coral scrap also from the Beautiful Bokeh paper pack that was punched twice with the “Heart” only from the retired Owl Builder Punch.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

A pretty card for a pretty bride.
