In The Moment – Birthday Wishes

Hi again!  Chasing a deadline and creating in my favorite style – clean and simple.

Retro Rubber (#262) has a Book theme, and I chose the retired In the Moment stamp set.

Playing with Simply Clean & Simple (#27) with a Birthday twist and the Alphabet (Letter K) for “Keeping” it Simple.

I also chose the current Pastel Color challenges over at Color Dare (#667) and Cupcake Inspirations (#625) to complete the card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Book Reading Girl image from the retired In the Moment stamp set (circa 2022) was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink as was the sentiment, Wishing you a day filled with Many Happy Moments, from the new Branching Out stamp set.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Face and Hand – Ivory; Hair – Light and Dark Lemon Lolly with a bit of Bronze; Pillows, Book and Socks – Light and Dark retired Pink Pirouette, Shoulder Blanket – Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam; Pants – Light and Dark Balmy Blue; Dog – Light and Dark Crumb Cake with a bit of Bronze; Coverlet – Light and Dark Lemon Lolly; and Coffee Mug – Bronze.

That’s it folks!  What better birthday gift than to be given a day without any responsibilities and to do what you wish – read a book and enjoy a cuppa.
