Lift Me Up – Just a Note

Welcome back!  Happy Thursday.  A fun card for you today…

Playing with the current color suggestion from Color Hues (#116) for Blue & Red along with the Paper Players (#752) sketch.

Additional design influences: Make My Monday (#259) for Hot Air Balloons and adding die-cut letters for Facebook’s Global Design Project (#511) suggestion.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Vertical Panels: (1¾” x 5”) Blueberry Bushel and Real Red Splatter patterned pieces of paper from the 2025/2026 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shape: (3” x 2”) Blueberry Bushel cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Just a note to LIFT your spirits, from the retired Lift Me Up stamp set was selectively inked with Versamark, omitting the word LIFT, and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The letters, L, I, F and T, were die-cut from Basic White cardstock scraps, using the Mini Alphabet Dies set and adhered below the stamped sentiment.
  • The complete sentiment was then die-cut with the Label die from the Hugs Abloom Dies set, a Paper Pumpkin Add-On product.
• Decoration – Hot Air Balloons: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Balloon image, also from the Lift Me Up stamp set, was stamped in both Blueberry Bushel and Real Red inks.
  • Small details on the Balloons were colored with the Light Blueberry Bushel and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Both the Sentiment and the Balloons were popped up with Dimensionals.

A fun little card to put together, especially for the person who needs a pick-me-up.
