Welcome back! Wishing you a wonderful Sunday and hoping you have some time to get creative.
Combining a few challenges: Shopping Our Stash (#554) with a Hot theme and I am going for hot sunny days resulting in pop-up showers that create rainbow surprises for Addicted to CAS (#290).
I chose the Creative Colour (#207) palette and am sharing with Four Seasons (August) summer anything goes.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
- Background / Card Front Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using the Rainbow die from the Sunshine Vibes Dies set, the Arcs were created.
- The Semi Circle and Rays images from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set were stamped with Calypso Coral ink.
- The sentiment, Sending Good Vibes, from the same stamp set, was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.
- Rainbow Insets: (4¼” x 2¾”) Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Calypso Coral cardstock.
- The same Rainbow die was die-cut in all the colors, and selected colors were set in to the open Arcs creating the Rainbow.
- Additionally, the Star die was used to create the Star from a scrap of Petal Pink cardstock.
All elements were adhered to the card base. A few orange, purple and green toned Pearls from the retired Adhesive Backed Pearl Trio pack were added for a wee bit of bling.
A fun card to create, celebrating one of the hot summer perks…catching a rainbow after a shower.

I love this…my rainbow dies just arrived yesterday and I am so excited to play with them!!
