So Hoppy Together – You Can Do Anything

Welcome back!  Happy Thursday.  A little bit of green for a clean and simple card…

Playing with the Paper Players (#751) CAS with a Critter; AAA Cards (#297) CAS with a twist of Green; and sharing with Inspire Create (#199) and Krafty Chicks (#782) with their current clean and simple style challenges.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Parakeet Party cardstock, retired but still in my stash.
• Background Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Panel: (3” x 3¾”) Parakeet Party and White Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Flowers & More Host Designer Series Paper pack.
• Focal Image(s) and Sentiment Banner: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Sitting Frog, Dragonfly and sentiment, You can do anything, from the retired So Hoppy Together stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die-cut with the (1¾”), (1¼”) and (1½” x ½”) Stitched Circle and Banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • The Frog and Dragonfly with colored with the Light Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • A liberal, but hard to see, dose of Wink of Stella Glitter was added to both “Critters”.

All elements were adhered to the card base completing the card.

I couldn’t resist using the So Hoppy Together stamp set for this assignment.  Green is my favorite color and I have a strong affinity for Frogs and Turtles and they can be found in unexpected places in my home…you just have to keep your eyes open…
