Back To School – For The Serious Scholar

Hi again!  Chasing a deadline.  Where does the time go?

End of summer…start of school. That said, both Cupcake Inspirations (#624) and Just Us Girls (#789) have school themes.

Bringing my ideas together, I selected the Freshly Made (#700) Sketch.

Here is the result:

EVERYDAY ARCHES – CIC624 – JUGS789 – FMS700

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Early Espresso cardstock for a Square Card.
  • Four Square Blocks: (2” x 2”) Crumb Cake / Early Espresso Circle Diamond patterned pieces of paper from the retired He’s The Man Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 2⅝) Cajun Craze cardstock.
  • Focal Panel: (2½” x 2½”) Shelved Books patterned piece of paper from the retired All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The sentiment, embrace the journey, from the Everyday Arches stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Versamark and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Focal Panel was popped up with Dimensionals and a favorite retired Vintage Brad was added to the bottom left corner.

For the fellow off to University…hoping he has a great year!

I appreciate you spending some more of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
