Welcome back! A brand-new week. Happy Monday.
Shall we begin? Today, we are doing Christmas for: Krafty Chicks (#781) influenced by Jingle Belles (#2517) for a Vintage/Retro feel of Christmas Past.

Sharing this card with both Make My Monday (#258) for Snow in August and Farm Quest Country Christmas (#23).

Here is the result:

Detail:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Naturals Ivory cardstock, retired but still in my stash.
- Background Panel: Evening Evergreen Striped Ombre patterned piece of paper from the retired Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper pack.
- Accent Strip: (2” x 5½”) Cherry Cobbler Gold Script patterned piece of paper from the retired Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper pack.
- Accent Ribbon: (5½”) Pretty Peacock and Gold Metallic Ribbon, recently retired, cut on the diagonal.
- Focal Image: Recycled Greeting Card die-cut with the (4½” x 3½”) Oval die from the retired Framelits Oval Collection Dies set and then dry-embossed in both directions with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a linen canvas look.
- Sentiment Banner: Pretty Peacock cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, to you and yours this Christmas, from the retired Brightest Glow stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (2¼” x ½”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base with the Focal image popped up with Dimensionals and adorned with a few recently retired Adhesive Backed Textured Dots.
Merry Christmas.

Wonderfully wintry Christmas card with a vintage elegance! I can just imagine getting bundled up and tromping to the creek for a brisk refresh before heading back to get cozy again next to the fire! I probably would have snuck a few pinches of bread to hide in my glove to scatter for the birds! Beautiful colors and textures!
