Perfectly Pears – Celebrate

Design Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#525) Sketch. Today’s card can be found on page 133 of the May 2025 – Apr 2026 Annual Catalog. 

CASE: (Copy and Steal Everything) Making it exactly the same; (Copy and Slightly Edit) Almost the same with a little variation; (Copy and Selectively Edit) Changing things.  You are welcome to choose how you create. 

Influences: Facebook’s Stampin’ Through The Catalog stamp set choice for today: Perfectly Pears.

Along with Color Hues (#115) for a Pink and Grey palette; and Krafty Chicks (#780) for a Birthday theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Blocks: (3” x 3”) Pretty in Pink and Basic Gray cardstock die-cut with the (2¾” x 2¾”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Decoration – Pears & Flowers: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The outline Pear, Leaves and Floral images from the Perfectly Pears stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The infill, two-step stamping Pear image was stamped into Pretty in Pink ink and Smoky Slate ink was added with a Sponge Dauber.
  • The small Dots image was added with Pretty in Pink ink.
  • The infill, two-step stamping Leave image was colored with Smoky Slate ink applied with the Sponge Dauber before stamping.
  • The Floral Center image was stamped into the blooms with Smoky Slate ink, and a dot of Pretty in Pink ink was added with the aid of a Pencil Eraser Tip.
  • The images were die-cut with the coordinating dies from the Perfectly Pears Dies set.
• Sentiment Banner – Basic Gray cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Celebrate, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the small Label die, also from the Perfectly Pears Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A white Baker’s Twine Bow was tied and added with a Glue Dot.  The top Pear, Flowers and Sentiment Label were popped up with both regular and mini Dimensionals.
