Extraordinary Flora – The Right Words

Welcome back! Design Team Time for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (#641). 

My choices were influenced by Sunday Stamps (#366) for the Color choices, and I am sharing with Inspiration Station (#76) for the cascading Florals and similar Color palette in the inspiration photograph.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Fresh Freesia cardstock.
• Split Background Panel: (2½” x 4”) Fresh Freesia Splatter patterned pieces of paper from the 2025/2026 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Mat: (2⅛” x 2⅛”) Fresh Freesia cardstock.
• Sentiment Block: (2” x 2”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The sentiment, You’re So Kind, from The Right Words stamp set was stamped with Summer Splash ink and then die-cut with the (1⅞” x 1⅞”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Decoration – Flowers & Leaves: (3½” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The large Floral image from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The Flowers & Leaves were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light and Dark Fresh Freesia with a bit of Light Petunia Pop; Light and Dark Summer Splash; Light Calypso Coral with Light Timid Tiger with a bit of Dark Calypso Coral; and Light and Dark Darling Duckling.
  • Once colored, the Flowers & Leaves were die-cut with the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Die.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  Several Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.

A lovely thank you card.
