Gorgeous Leaves – Hello

Hi again!  Getting to be creative on Sundays is a pleasure…

Playing with Creative Colours (#204) and the Freshly Made (#697) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Blackberry Bliss cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4¼” x 5”) Basic Beige cardstock.
  • The Splatter images from the retired Gorgeous Leaves stamp set were stamped with Timid Tiger, Garden Green and Blackberry Bliss inks.
  • The sentiment, Hello, from the Everyday Arches stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
• Cross Strips: (5” x ½”) Timid Tiger and Garden Green Two-Tone cardstocks.
  • The Strips were hand-torn.  Garden Green Dark Two-Tone topside and Garden Green Light Two-Tone bottom side exposing the white core.
• Decoration – Leaves: Timid Tiger, Garden Green and Blackberry Bliss cardstock scraps die-cut with the three Leaf dies from the coordinating retired Intricates Leaves Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The colors felt so appropriate for Leaves, so it was fun to pull out a favorite retired stamp set/bundle.

A quick and pretty Fall greeting card.
