Revisiting a Memory…

I started blogging in August of 2020. Five years sure go by fast!

A TRIPLE CHALLENGE

Last week I created a card to meet the criteria for three challenges:

Case-ing Tuesday #262
Stampin’ Through the Catalog Tuesday Stamp Set Selection “Ornate Garden”
Colour Inkspiration #82

Choose a card sample from the 2020 / 2021 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog and Case!
July 28th

Create a card using the Ornate Garden stamp set
July 28th – Tuesday Selection (Catalog page 67)

Create a card using the colors Melon Mambo, Just Jade, Basic Black, and White as per the current Colour Inkspiration suggestion. Crumb Cake and Metallics are permitted.

I hadn’t yet discovered my photo editing Tool, so there are no challenge graphics to go with the post.

The “Ornate Garden” floral image is stamped in Momento Black ink. I water-colored, fussy cut and mounted the flowers on to the Basic Black die-cut Circle. The Melon Mambo horizontal strip was die cut with the Ornate Borders dies and then the straight edge was fussy cut. The Just Jade back panel is dry embossed using the Subtle 3D embossing folder.
The sentiment comes from the “Forever Fern” stamp set.
Golden thread is added for a little glitz and is part of the Forever Greenery Combo Trim Pack.

How did I do?

Still a great sketch…perhaps I will revisit it in a future post with current colors and stamp sets.

Cheers, Jolanda
