Breathtaking Bouquet – Celebrate

Welcome back! It’s Saturday and I have a nice card for you today…

The challenges: Beautiful Blossoms (#30) featuring a Patriotic Bouquet; Paper Craft Crew (#626) Patriotic Colors; and Atlantic Hearts (#634) for the Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Card Front: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The retired Breathtaking Bouquet Floral background stamp, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with both Stampin’ Blends Markers and Watercolor Pencils.  SBM Colors: Large Rose – Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler; Peonies – Light and Dark Real Red; Mid-Size Posies – Light and Dark Misty Moonlight; Freesia – Light and Dark Balmy Blue; Eucalyptus – Light Smoky Slate; Other Leaves – Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Dark Smoky Slate.  WCP: Rose Bud and Large Posy – Basic White and Basic Gray smoothed out with a Blender Pen.
  • The Floral Panel was chopped up into various sized pieces and affixed to the Background Panel.
• Sentiment Label: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, celebrate, from Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then trimmed to (1⅞” x ⅝”).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch which I flipped to the vertical position top better showcase the Florals.  The Sentiment Label was popped up with Dimensionals.

A very nice fractured card.
