Perfectly Pears – A Perfect Pair

Welcome back!  Wishing you a wonderful Friday.

Today I have a clean and simple card for a number of different challenges.

Tic Tac Toe (#273) left line: Love, CAS, and Scoring; Paper Players (#742) CAS with a Fruit theme; Krafty Chicks (#773) for their CAS week; and choosing the Freshly Made (#691) Sketch which is ideal for a CAS card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, a (¼”) Border was embossed.
  • The sentiment, Wishing you love & happiness that lasts a lifetime, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped with Old Olive ink.
• Decoration – Pears: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The large Pear Outline image, from the Perfectly Pears stamp set, a new On-Line Exclusive product available July 1^st, was stamped with Old Olive ink.
  • The large Pear Infill image was added with Granny Apple Green ink.
  • The Leaf Stem Outline image was colored with the Old Olive and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Markers.
  • The Leaf Stem Infill image was colored with the Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Markers.
  • All pieces were die-cut with the coordinating dies from the Perfectly Pears Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, and the Top Pear and Leaf Stem were popped up with Dimensionals.

A very nice clean and simple engagement or wedding card for the perfect pair of lovebirds.
