Charming Day – Floral Impressions Birthday

Hi again!  Isn’t it fun when you have some time to play and create?  Trying to get ahead so I have time to enjoy the weekend

Seize the Birthday (#307) gave us the option to create a Fancy Fold card, and I tried my hand at a Gate Fold Book Bind using the lovely Facebook’s Colour INKSpiration (#189) Palette.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (11” x 4¼” scored at 2⅛”, 3⅜”, 8⅞”) Secret Sea cardstock.
• Inside Panel: (4” x 4⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
• Book Bind Panel: (1⅛” x 4⅛”) Melon Mambo cardstock dry-embossed with the Glass Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Gate Fold Panels: (1⅞” x 4⅛”) Darling Duck Grid patterned pieces of paper from the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper pack, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Flap Accent Mat: (3½” x 3½”) Cloud Cover cardstock die-cut with the (3¼”) Floral Eyelet die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies set, again another On-Line Exclusive product.
• Focal Flap: (3” x 3”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (2¾”) Radiating Stitches die from the same Dies set.
• Decoration: Fussy-cut Flowers from the reverse side of the Grid patterned paper in the coordinating, colors of Darling Duckling. Melon Mambo, Secret Sea and Cloud Cover.
• Sentiment Label: (2″ x 1″) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Charming Day stamp set, a new On-Line Exclusive product available July 1^st, was stamped with Secret Sea ink.

All the elements were adhered and arranged.  Two Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals, and additional Flowers were adhered inside the card.

A bright and pretty Birthday card showcasing a fairly simple but nice fun fold.
