One More Year

Welcome back!  Monday already…where did the weekend go?

Keeping it simple, clean and simple with a quick little card.

Just Us Girls (#779) is featuring Numbers and Just Add Ink (#755) has a nice set of Colors.

Bringing my ideas together with the AAA Cards (#292) Sketch suggesting any shape, any color and any number of blocks.

Here is the result:

STRIPES & DOTS – SUNSHINE SAYINGS – JUGS779 – JAI755 – AAACC292

Steps:

  • Card Base: (11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Short Stack Dashes image from the Stripes & Dots stamp set was stamped with Balmy Blue ink.
    • The sentiment, One More Year, from the retired Sunshine Sayings stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.
  • Blocks: Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Smoky Slate, and Misty Moonlight cardstock scraps were die-cut with the (2⅛” x ⅞”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • Numbers: Using the Alphabet a La Mode Dies set, numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, the Banners were further die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch suggestion for a clean and simple anything number type card…Childs’ Birthday, a fun Anniversary, a School Grade Level change…

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
