Love You – Layered Thoughts

Welcome back!  Happy Wednesday.  Sneaking in a card between today’s Class Prep.

Inspired By (#338) is featuring Lady Bugs and a cute Sketch and Facebook’s Stampin’ Through The Catalog is featuring the Layered Thoughts stamp set this week.  What fun!

I am sharing this card with Heart’s Quest (#74) as my Love theme includes a yellow Heart and Can You Handle The Pressure (#25MAY24) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Daffodil Delight cardstock dry-embossed with both the Glass & Garden Embossing Folders, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Tilted Block: (3¾” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (3½” x 2¼”) Stitched Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The words, Love and you, from the Layered Thoughts stamp set were stamped with Daffodil Delight and Basic Gray inks, respectively.
  • The three Lady Bug images from the Mixed Florals stamp set, again an On-Line Exclusive product, were stamped with Basic Gray ink and colored with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment Arch was popped up with Dimensionals and the card was decorated with little White Daisies, and a Yellow and Red Heart from the retired Adhesive Backed Hearts and Flowers pack.

A sweet card…just because or suitable for an anniversary or dear friend.
