Upcycle Recycle – Floral Thinking of You

Hi Again!  A quick little card for you…

Jan from Paper Players (#740) has challenged us to repurpose something in our stash.

I have held on to the cover of the November 2019 On-Stage Atlanta Convention Notebook that we were given for what…5 plus years now, always intending to do something with it.  It was so pretty and today was the day.

The Cover Colors and the Floral Acetate Overlay tied in nicely with the Beautiful Blossoms (#29) inspiration photo.

Here is the result:

THE RIGHT WORDS – PP740 – BBC029

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • Card Front Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Notebook Cover trimmed.
    • The sentiment, Thinking of You, from The Right Words stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Floral Overlay: (4” x 5¼”) Floral Printed Acetate trimmed.
    • Mini Glue Dots were hidden behind four Black retired Classic Matte Dots that were added to the corners of the Acetate.

And that’s it!  Such a pretty card.

Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
