Welcome back! Wow that was a short week. Friday already…
A few ideas came together as I thought about these challenges: (1) Atlantic Hearts (#631) Sketch; (2) Shopping Our Stash (#548) Adding Numbers; (3) Ellibelle’s I Spy (#26) Butterflies; and (4) Double D (#05202025) Birthstone: Green Emerald.

I wanted to use green and opted for Lemon Lime Twist as it was brighter than a darker emerald color such as Shy Shamrock. I recalled that I still had some retired Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper on hand…
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
- Side Panels: (1¼” x 4”) Lemon Lime Twist Botanical Garden patterned pieces of paper.
- Center Panel: (8” x 2¼” scored at 4”) Basic Black cardstock.
- A Square Window was die-cut with the (1⅞” x 1⅞”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- The No. 3 image and the Filigree image from the retired Creative Elements stamp set were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Window: (2⅛” x 2½”) Window Sheet was adhered behind the Square Window Opening with (⅛”) Tear & Tape (from a Paper Pumpkin Kit).
- Specimen Background” (2” x 2”) Basic White cardstock.
- Specimen Butterfly: Black & White Butterfly patterned piece of paper, reverse side of Garden pattern, clipped and colored with Light Lemon Lime Twist and retired Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Markers and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- A generous addition of Wink of Stella Glitter was added to the Butterfly. Hard to see in the photo but the Butterfly sparkles like diamonds.
- The Butterfly was added to the white background and the Specimen Slide was sealed and added to the card front.
I left the card sentiment free so that it could be used for a multitude of occasions.
Thanks for spending some of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!

What a striking card, Jolanda! The color is unique but very pretty; the background is just delightful and your embossed strip really make that black frame pop! So happy you used our sketch this week at the Atlantic Hearts Challenge!
