Design Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#513) Sketch. Today? The card can be found on page 104 of the May 2025 – Apr 2026 Annual Catalog.

Influences: Just Add Ink (#751) for a Window Shaker card and Inspired By (#336) Lemons for subject and colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”) Lemon Lolly cardstock.
- Card Front: (4” x 5½”) Azure Afternoon cardstock dry-embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder at (3⅝”).
- The Window Opening was punched out with the (1¾”) Circle Punch, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- Window Background & Decoration – Lemons: (4” x 4½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Lemon Outline image, from the retired Sweet Citrus stamp set was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and the coordinating Two-Step Infill Lemon image was stamped with Lemon Lolly ink.
- The Panel was then inserted into the coordinating Hybrid Embossing Folder with the coordinating Dies so that all four Lemon pieces were embossed and die-cut in one go.
- The Full Lemon Slice was used as the background to the Window Opening and adhered in place on the card base to match the opening.
- For ease of the Shaker elements the Lemon Slice was covered with a (2¼” x 2¼”) cut piece of a Window Sheet adhered with Scotch Tape.
- Another (2½” x 2½”) cut piece of a Window Sheet was adhered to the underside of the Window Opening on the Card Front, also with Scotch Tape.
- Adhesive Foam Strips were added around the Window and the edges of the Card Front.
- Loose Gold Sequins were added on top of the Lemon Slice and the Card Front was added, trapping the Shaker Elements.
- The other Lemon pieces were arranged and adhered around the Window on the Card Front.
- Sentiment Banner: (3¼” x 1¼”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Have a zesty birthday, from the same stamp set was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink and die-cut with the Side Stitched Label die from the Happy Hibiscus Dies set. Finished size: (3” x ⅞”).
- Decoration – Lemon Blossoms: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Triple Floral image, again from the same stamp set, was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and the Flowers were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Petals – Light and Dark Lemon Lolly; Floral Centers – Light Daffodil Delight.
- The Flowers were then die-cut with the coordinating Floral die and added to the Card Front.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment Label and Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.
Having fun with texture, dimension and sequins for this bright blue and yellow yummy birthday card.
