Millenium Falcon – Cruising View

Welcome back!  A new week has started, and I am creating with a “MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU” theme…

This month, Park Hopping – My Happy Place, Colorful Options and Time Out (#288) all went out to Space.

I selected to use the Paper Craft Crew (#621) Sketch, flipped and loosely interpreted for my card layout keeping it simple.  Just stamps, inks and paper.

Here is the result:

AMAZING YOU – STAR OF LIGHT – PH May 2025 – COC May 2025 – TOC288 – PCC621

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
  • Card Front: (5¼” x 4”) Purple-Toned Landscape patterned piece of paper from the retired Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper pack.
  • All images were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder with the aid of the Stamp-a-ma-jig Positioning Tool.
    • From the retired Amazing You stamp set:
      • The Rays image was stamped, after I masked the Mountain Ridge with Low Tack Tape.
      • The words, YOU; are simply; and amazing, were then stamped.
    • From the retired Star of Light stamp set:
      • The Galaxy of Stars image was stamped.

A reflective imagining of the view from the cockpit window of the Millenium Falcon as it takes off into night not yet engaged in combat.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
