Holiday Bells – Santa Post

Welcome back!  A few deadlines are looming, and the theme is Christmas…

The challenges: Jingle Belles (#2510) Christmas Bells; Krafty Chicks (#767) Christmas Week; and Addicted to Stamps & More (#492) Christmas theme.

Bringing it all together with the CAS Colours & Sketches (#560) Four-Square Layout.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (3¾” x 3¾”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Squares: (2¼” x 2¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Holiday Bells image from the retired Bells & Boughs stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The Bells were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Bells – Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and retired Wild Wheat; Ribbon – Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler; Holly Berries – Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler; Holly – Light and Dark Mossy Meadow; and Shadows – Light Pool Party.
  • Each image was die-cut with the (1⅞” x 1⅞”) Postage die from the Perennial Postage Dies, available as an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The Postage Stamp edges were highlighted with Smoky Slate ink applied with a Sponge Dauber and then adhered to the Accent Mat.
  • The Santa Post Cancellation image from the retired Winter Post stamp set was stamped twice across the Postage Stamps with Basic Gray ink.

The Four-Square block was adhered to the card base, and we are done.

A fun little Holiday card.  Merry Christmas.
