Dandelion Wishes – Sending Love

Welcome back!  Already Wednesday.  Another quick and simple stamped card for you today.

The Inspired by (#334) Photograph presenting Circle Shapes and Luscious Pink/Purple/Lime Colors was where I started.

Influenced by the Retro Rubber (#254) Spring Flowers, The Flower Challenge (#102) to add Spots, and sharing with Simply Clean & Simple (#23) for their Floral Twist.

Here is the result:

DANDELION WISHES = POSTED FOR YOU – IB334 – RRCB254 – TFC102 – SCS023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
  • Card Front: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Triple Dandelion and Floating Seeds images from the retired Dandelion Wishes stamp set (circa 2018) were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, as was the sentiment, Sending love your way, from the retired Posted For You stamp set (circa 2020).
    • From a piece of Copy Paper, I created a Mask with the (1”) and (1¼”) Circle Punches to add Spots thereby creating my Spring “Flowers”.
      • Using Blending Brushes and the Mask, Bubble Bath and Strawberry Slush inks were added to the smaller Dandelion; Strawberry Slush and Berry Burst inks were added to the center Dandelion, and Berry Burst and Highland Heather inks were added to the left Dandelion.
    • Color was added to the Dandelion Seeds and the Dandelion Stems with the Light and Dark Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Markers.

A gentle wind carries the message…

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
