Christmas Joy is a Cup of Coffee

Sneaking in another card between the loads of laundry.  Sunday – it is a chore day.

I have another Christmas card for you.  Playing with Jingle Belles (#2509) and their Christmas Color Board for Caffeinated Christmas (#41) highlighting Flowers.

Additionally, I was influenced by Just Add Ink (#749) Choose Two: Circles & Coffee and Just Us Girls (#773) Die Week with Flowers.

Here is the result:

HAVE A CUP ON US – REASON FOR THE SEASON – JB2509 – CCCC41 – JIA749 – JUGS773

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • Both the large and small Bokeh Circle Dots images from the retired Beauty Abounds stamp set were stamped with Pool Party ink.
  • Decoration – Coffee Cup & Poinsettias: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
    • The Coffee Cup image from the Have a Cup on Us stamp set from Stamp Simply was stamped.
    • The Poinsettia Flower image from the retired Reason for the Season stamp set was stamped twice in full and twice in part for the Floral Center.
      • The Coffee Cup was colored with the Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker and then the word: Joy and the small Snowflake image from the retired Endless Wishes stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.
      • These two images were stamped again with Versamark ink overtop for a shadow effect and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Have a Cup on Us Dies set, also from Stamp Simply.
      • The Poinsettia Flowers were also colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Flower Petals – Light and Dark Poppy Parade; Flower Centers – Dark Daffodil Delight; and Leaves – Light and Dark Pretty Peacock with Dark Pool Party.
      • Additionally, a little bit of Timid Tiger was added to the Flower Centers with the Stampin’ Write Marker.
      • The Poinsettias were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base with the Coffee Cup and Center Cut Poinsettia Flowers popped up with Dimensionals.

Happy Holidays!
