Blended Boho Blue – I Love You

Welcome back!  A fun card for you today…

Facebook’s Colour INKspiration (#186) is saying goodbye to the 2023 / 2025 In-Colors.  I really like them all and I will be sorry to see them go. For this card, I chose Boho Blue, but it would look good in any of the colors.

Over at TGIF (#522), the challenge is to use Alphabet Dies in some manner and I selected the Sketch Saturday (#774) Layout to show off all requirements.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Dashed patterned piece of paper from the retired 2023/2025 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack (2023/2024 Edition).
• Square Accent Mats: (2⅛” x 2⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
• Squares: (2” x 2”) Dotted patterned piece of paper, also from the retired 2023/2025 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack (2023/2024 Edition).
• Cross Strip: Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired 2023/2025 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack (2024/2025 Edition).
• Circle Underlay: Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Circles: Boho Blue cardstock, also die-cut with the same Stitched Circle die.
  • Alphabet Letters: “I” and “U” from the retired Little Letter Thinlits Dies set were cut out.
  • Heart: Using the Heart die from the retired Wood Crate Framelits Dies set, the “Love: element was cut out.
  • The Circles were then dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a little texture.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Heart Circle was popped up with Dimensionals.

A nice way to use up your pretty patterned papers.
