Geometric Birthday – Gorgeously Made

Welcome back!  Good Friday and wishing you a Happy Easter.

Today I have created a clean and simple card featuring the Paper Players (#733) suggested colors by Stef.

I created Geometric Shaped Stencils for CAS on Friday (#307) and The Male Room (#197) and I am sharing this card with Krafty Chicks (#764) for their CAS week.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
• Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • From Copy Paper, I created Stencils by cutting the Geometric Shapes: Semi Circle, Quarter Circles, Spots and Banners with dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
  • These Stencils were used as Masks and the colors: Summer Splash, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist were added with Blending Brushes.
  • The Leaf image from the retired Gorgeously Made stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink as was the sentiment, Happy Birthday, from the Simply Said stamp set.

A few Purple, Yellow and Aqua toned gems from the retired Glossy Dots Assortment were added for a bit of sparkle, completing the card.
