So Cute – Hello

Welcome back!  Already Wednesday…

Today I created a card for Inspired By (#331) with Sweet Rabbits, Pastel Colors, and a Sketch.

I am sharing this card with Shopping Our Stash (#545) with a Hippity, Hoppity theme and Ellibelle’s Garden Party (#2).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Strip image – Floral Hello from the retired A Little Bit of Happiness stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light Lemon Lolly, Light Bubble Bath, and Dark Soft Sea Foam.
• Accent Squares: Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam and Lemon Lolly cardstock scraps die-cut with the (1½” x 1½”) Stitched Square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
• Focal Squares: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Little Bunny image from the retired So Cute stamp set was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The Bunnies were shadowed with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker and the Bow Ties were colored with the coordinating cardstock colors: Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam and Lemon Lolly.
  • The Bunnies were then die-cut with the (1⅜” x 1⅜”) Square Postage Stamp die from the Perennial Postage Dies set

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch, which I flipped to the horizontal position.

A sweet Spring / Easter hello card…
