Love & Sympathy

Welcome back!  Happy Monday and it is a clean and simple card day.

Playing with: CAS Colours & Sketches (#557) for the Palette; AAA Cards (#288) for the Sketch, which I flipped to the vertical orientation; Tic Tac Toe (#268) for the Elements; sharing with Addicted to Stamps & More (#490) using Stencils and Simply Clean & Simple (#22) for their Anything Goes theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pebbled Path cardstock.
• Card front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using two Stencils:  Rectangle Label and Filigree Tile from the retired Artistic Mix Decorative Masks set and a Blending Brush with Moody Mauve ink, the background coloring was added.
  • The Floral image from the retired Love & Sympathy stamp set was colored directly with Stampin’ Write Markers.  Colors chosen: Flower – Blackberry Bliss and Leaves – Pebbled Path.
  • The sentiment, Sending Love and Sympathy, also from the same stamp set was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
