Facebook’s Stampin’ Through the Catalog is featuring the stamp set For The Books today and I paired it up the Sunday Stamps (#357) Colors and the Freshly Made Sketch (#681) for a clean and simple card perfect for the little graduate.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Secret Sea cardstock, a new In-Color.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Crushed Curry Striped pattered piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
- Banner: (2½” x 4”) Basic White cardstock die-cut with the (2¼” x 3½”) Stitched Arch die from the Everyday Arches Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product, and then dry-embossed with the retired Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
- Sentiment Mat: (2⅞” x ⅞”) Secret Sea cardstock scrap.
- Sentiment Label: (2¾” x ¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, you’re a solid five-star, from the For The Books stamp set, still available but on the Last Chance List, was stamped with Secret Sea ink and the Stars were colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: retired Medium Daffodil Delight (Stampin’ Blendabilities); Light Blackberry Bliss; Light Mossy Meadow; and Dark Highland Heather.
- Focal Image – Book Stack: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Books image, also from the For The Books stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored. Colors chosen: Book Pages – Medium Daffodil Delight; Book (1) – Dark Highland Heather and Dark Blackberry Bliss; Book (2) – Light and Dark Mossy Meadow; Book (3) – Light and Dark Blackberry Bliss; and Book (4) – Secret Sea ink applied with a Blender Pen and a bit of Medium Daffodil Delight.
- The Books were then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Books image was popped up with Dimensionals.
