Tea Together – You Are Tea-riffic

Hi again!  I had a bee in my bonnet with a few challenges and I had sometime time to pull my ideas together.

Over at Colorful Options (April), I was taken with the “tea” motifs in the pastel inspiration photos. I particularly liked the color palette over at TGIF (#519) this week and opted for the lighter pastel side of them.

I am sharing this card with Heart’s Quest Celebration of Love (#4) for a Spring themed Anniversary card; Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (April) Anything Goes theme; and Love Those Pretty Paper (#10).

Here is the result:

TEA TOGETHER – A NICE CUPPA – TGIFC519 – COC April 2025 – HQCOLCB04 – ECWC April 2025 – LTPP010

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lemon Lolly cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Romantic Script patterned piece of paper from the retired Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper pack that featured a soft yellow and blue.
  • Decoration – Tea Pot: Yellow and Vanilla patterned piece of paper, also from the Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper pack.
    • The Tea Pot image from the retired Tea Together stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the retired Tea Time Framelits Dies set.
    • Shadows were added with the Dark Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Marker and the sentiment, You are tea-riffic, from the retired A Nice Cuppa stamp set, was stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped off once) Basic Gray ink.
  • Focal Image – Tea Cup & Roses: (4¼” x 5½”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The Tea Cup and Rose images, also from the Tea Together stamp set, were also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers and then die-cut with the coordinating Tea Time Framelits dies.

All elements were arranged and adhered to the card base with one Rose popped up with Dimensionals.

It was a bit of a hunt for the patterned paper…but I think it was worth it!  Celebrating an Anniversary with treasured long time-ago wedding gifts.

Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!

  1. Jolanda: this is gorgeous!! The Victorian/Bohemian/shabby chic look is just lovely! And a sweet idea for an anniversary card! Thanks for sharing for the A in BEWAS themes at HQCOLCB!! — Becca

P.S. Tea service/drinkware is included in the anything kitchen or dining goes theme at FQHSKCB or FarmQuest HomeStyle Kitchen Challenges blog if you’d like to share there, too. It’d be tea-tally awesome if you did.
