Joy of Noel – Bright Spirits

Welcome back!  Saturday morning and off to a good start.  The annual Spring Fling, in our town, is today and we are heading over there this afternoon.

Another clean and simple card for you.  Jingle Belles (#2507), have challenged us to create a no-layer / one-layer holiday card and I selected the pretty Joy of Noel retired stamp set, grabbed my paint brush and picked the Creative Colour (#187) palette.

Here is the result:

JOY OF NOEL – JB2507 – CCC187

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock folded and burnished with my Bone Folder.
  • The larger Holly image and the sentiment, Making spirits bright, were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Silver Embossing Powder.
  • Using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush, I picked up the colors from the Ink Pad Lids.  Berries – Calypso Coral; Greenery – Light Wash Old Olive; Holly – Darker Old Olive; and Shadows – Gray Granite.

That’s all, folks!

Quick, simple and lovely.

Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
