Painted Lavender – Thank you

Hi again!  Back in my happy place…clean and simple…

Playing with LeAnne’s Paper Players (#731) Tic Tac Toe Board – Flowers / Die Cut / Lavender; AAA Cards (#287) One plus One: Silhouette -> Organic Shapes; and selecting Narelle’s Freshly Made (#680) Sketch as it was ideal for my ideas.

Here is the result:

PAINTED LAVENDER DIES – WILDFLOWER DESIGNS – ELEMENTS OF TEXT – PP731 – AAACC287 – FMS680

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
  • Card Front: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • A Mask was created from Copy Paper (4¼” x 5½”) and the (1¾” x 3⅛”) Rectangle die from the retired Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
    • With the Mask in place, Highland Heather ink was added with a Blending Brush.
    • Using Highland Heather ink, the Splatter image from the Elements of Text stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was added.
    • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Wildflower Designs stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • Silhouette: Gorgeous Grape cardstock scrap die-cut with the Floral Stems die from the Painted Lavender Dies set, on the Last Chance List but currently still available.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.

I love how just a few elements can create such a pretty card.
