Welcome back. It’s Saturday! Hoping you find some time to be creative this weekend.
Are you itching to get to your springtime gardening? Really tempting with the tease of warmer temperatures…
That said, I am playing with Festive Friday (#181) and selected Flowers, Pink (Bubble Bath) and Yellow (Lemon Lolly) from the List of options to create a quick clean and simple card for the CAS Colours & Sketches (#556) layout.

I have added Soft Sea Foam for the Facebook Global Design Project (#489) Color Palette and sharing with Ellibelle’s I Spy With My Little Eye (#24) theme, the Dawn of Spring.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Card Front: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
- Shape: The Floral Wheelbarrow image from the retired Garden Meadow stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Hyacinths – Light and Dark Bubble Bath; Posies – Light and Dark Lemon Lolly; Leaves – Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam; and Wheelbarrow – Light and Dark Smoky Slate.
- The image was stamped again onto a Post-It-Note and fussy-cut with Paper Snips to serve as a Mask.
- Strip: A piece of Copy Paper was torn and also used as a Mask.
- With the Masks in place, Soft Sea Foam ink was added with a Blending Brush.
- The Masks were then removed.
- Sentiment: The sentiment, Springtime Greetings, from the Sweet Springtime stamp set, found in the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit, was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
