Hello There

Welcome back!  A fun little scrappy card for you this morning…

The current Atlantic Hearts (#622) Sketch is ideal for using up some of those off cuts that result from your card making.  What better way to use them up.

I selected the Facebook’s Stampin’ Up! Color (March) Palette to play with my Soda Pop scraps (a Close To My Heart Paper Packet and Sticker set that was available but now retired) and to use the Starstruck Embossing Folder (from the Sale-a-bration 2025 collection) for Can You Handle The Pressure (#76) asking us to use our favorite color(s).  For me, it is a Blue/Green combination.

Here is the result:

SODA POP PAPER PACKET & STICKERS – ELEMENTS OF TEXT – AHSC622 – SUCC March 2025 – CYHTP76

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Granny Apple Green cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Splatter image from the Elements of Text stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Blueberry Bushel inks.
    • The Panel was then dry-embossed.
  • Strips and Sentiment Sticker: The original lighter blue color was colored over with the Light Granny Apple Stampin’ Blends Marker.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  A retired Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon and Bow was added, and the Sticker Sentiment was then affixed.

A quick and fun card to create.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!
