Design Time for The Card Concept (#215) and we have a lovely floral cake for our inspiration this month.
I loved all the texture and the white space, so I chose to create a clean and simple, yet textured card.
I am sharing this card with the CAS on Friday (#304) for water coloring and with Four Seasons (March) vibing with the mood board of pretty spring flowers.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
- Card front: (4¼” x 5½”) Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
- The Panel was dry-embossed with the retired Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder.
- The sentiment, Celebrate every moment, from the retired Honey Bee stamp set was stamped with Garden Green ink.
- The Flowers were then water colored using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter brush using Strawberry Slush, a returning 2025/2027 In-Color, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green inks picked up the Ink Pad lids.
Super easy…just a little patience waiting for the paint to dry.
So pretty and suitable for so many occasions.
