Jar of Love – For You

Welcome back!  Already the middle of the week.  Hoping it is shaping up to be a good one for you.

Today’s Challenges: Inspired By (#324) Country Kitchen Colors with the Mason Jar and Retro Rubber (#249) Tic Tac Toe Board Line – Right (Die Cut(s) / Flowers / Embossing) along with a Vintage stamp set.

And bringing it all together, I selected the Paper Players (#726) Sketch by Stef and created my card with only cardstock and no patterned papers for Ellibelle’s I Spy (#23).

Here is the result:

JAR OF LOVE – IB324 – RRCB249 – PP726 – EIS023

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Accent Panel: (4” x 5¼”) retired Pistachio Pudding cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Cross Hatch patterned Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Focal Image – Mason Jar with Flowers: Basic White cardstock scraps all die-cut with the coordinating dies from the retired Everyday Jars Framelits Dies set.
    • All stamp images are from the retired Jar of Love stamp set (circa 2016).
    • Colors chosen: Mason Jar – Mint Macaron ink, retired; Water – Pistachio Pudding ink, retired; Greenery Stems – Pistachio Pudding ink; Greenery – Pistachio Pudding ink; Blooms – combination of Bubble Bath ink, Flirty Flamingo ink and Regal Rose ink, retired; Posies – Daffodil Delight ink; and Ribbon Bow – Daffodil Delight ink.
  • Sentiment Flag: Flirty Flamingo cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, For You, from the same stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then trimmed and hand-flagged with Paper Snips.  Finished size: (1½” x⅜”).

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Flowers were all popped up with Dimensionals.

A very pretty Country Flower arrangement. A card suitable for many occasions.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.  Cheers,  Jolanda!

  1. Jolanda, this is just delightful! I always loved this set but sometimes I don’t feel like doing all the fussy diecutting, but it was definitely worth is. That Pistacho Pudding embossing peeking out from the top and bottom is just so fun! Sweet card! So glad you shared this with us at the Players this week!
