Wildflower Designs – Thank You

Hi!  Another card for you today.  Back with a clean and simple styling.

Over at the Facebook Global Design Project (#484), we are asked to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a card created by Janneke De Jong.

I selected the Colour INKspiration (#181) Palette and am sharing with Krafty Chicks (#756) for CAS Week.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Strips: (¼” x 5½”) Summer Splash Striped patterned pieces of paper from the 2024/2026 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Centre Panel: (3” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Using a Blending Brush, Pool Party ink was applied.
  • The Text image from the Elements of Text stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Summer Splash ink.
  • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Wildflower Designs stamp set was stamped with Afternoon Azure ink.
• Decoration – Flowers: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The two Floral images, also from the Wildflower Designs stamp set, were stamped with Azure Afternoon ink.
  • Using a Blender Pen and Coastal Cabana ink, the Larger Flower was colored.
  • Additionally, a bit of Pool Party ink was added with the Blending Brush.
  • Using the Eraser end of a Pencil, as a small stamp, Coastal Cabana ink was added to some of the Blooms.
  • Similarly, Summer Splash ink was added to the Smaller Flower Blooms.
  • Both Flowers were then die-cut with the coordinating dies from the Wildflower Designs Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble Janneke’s layout.  White Baker’s Twine was added behind the Flowers which were popped up with Dimensionals and a few Summer Splash 2024/2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems were added for a bit of bling

Such a fresh set of colors…and a very nice clean and simple sketch.
